Saudi Arabia
I just can't get why Saudi Arabia is our "ally" in the war on terror. 15 out of 19 9/11 damn hijackers were Saudis. Osama bin Forgotten is a Saudi. Saudis are profiting from oil and using those profits to fund terror. They are the center of terrorism! Though I still wouldn't support war in Saudi Arabia. If we would stop buying their oil, they would starve...literally! Then they won't have any fund to support terrorism! So while Bush is flirtin with Saudi prince to get more oil, we should really stop buying terrorist oil!

1. First people have to leave their Suburban homes! That is not realistic!
Like it or not, they are allies. They have some growth to do. And some money to spend on diversifying their economy so that it doesn't disappear in 50 years when the Oil runs out. All of the Oil rich Middle East has the same work to do too.

7. That is why the new 'democracy' in the Middle East talk. Get it? n/t
Took the extreme wings 50 years longer than the rest of the Liberal world to decide that democracies come back & bite you in the end: if you don't let them happen and encourage them to start up whatever the starting ideology is..as long as they are representative of the people. Neocons run around like they invented it! liberals all over the world have been hoping the day would come when there was no excuse for supporting (you start to unsupport by encouraging democratic reform) dictatorships. Liberals and enlightened people everywhere know that the populations all over the world will make the best choice when they learn to trust each other by voting together and getting what they need..even if you don't get everything you want. Because we all started out in baby democracies that worked to implement better and better norms. And when we did - we were all better off. We are better people for having to share the world's resources with the world finally.

2. FBI tried to get search warrents on 14 of those and Asscroft wouldnt allow
them any phone taps or search of Attas computer.. which would have revieled the plot. the Justice dept was at the point of not asking Asscroft for any help at all because it was a waste of peoples time..he wouldnt allow any warrents on the project.

3. Did you read... that just as we are making it harder on citizens
per the 'real id' act... we quietly made it easier for Saudi citizens to get passports to enter the country. Seems that when bush bud the crowned prince came to town, he pleaded the case of saudi travelers who found the post 911 hurdles (time to do checks, and all that) inconvenient, so within days bush changed the rules back to their lax state when 15 Saudi citizens slipped into the country. While certainly most Saudi's pose no threat.. I don't undertand the exception to the rule only for Saudi's at the same time we are making it harder for citizens in this country who are poor and disenfranchised, to get drivers licenses or official ids.

6. They give us the buddy discount, that is the only reason we put up with
...them and their insane shit. Were it not for them turning on the tap everytime we get into a fix, we'd be all over their asses for their DICTATORSHIP of a country disguised as a Kingdom, their brutal treatment of females, and their spreading of hate by the Wahhabist bastards in madrasas all over the region.

But hey, they got the goods, we need the fix....so we just stick our "principles" up our asses and get down to bootlicking and smiling about bluebells!
