Just curious....Where did Lynndie England get her leash?
This "few bad apples" torturefest is still plaguing me. Who brought the hoods and leashes? Let me guess. The night before she left for Iraq, Lynndie Englad made a list:

DON`T FORGET TO PACK: gun, clean socks, land mines, deodorant, leashes with matching dog collars, sunscreen, 2,500 black hoods, conditioner, water boards with straps, photo of Mom, two dozen trained attack dogs, Babe Cologne, dozen vials of fake menstrual blood, Beanie Baby, electrodes, Made in China flag pin.

If George W. Bush says "We don`t approve of torture" one more time, my head will explode. He can`t really believe we`re that stupid.
Wonder how much longer the wingnuts are going to be able to ignore this? Let me make another guess...Tomorrow morning, one of them will call C-Span`s Washington journal....

Hi. This is Robert Lee from Georgia. We ought to kill every one of them over there that`s causing us problems. Either they obey the rules we set down or we blow them back to the Stone Age. God Bless America and God Bless our Christian president.

1. Yes... they do believe that Americans are that stupid...
and for the most part they're correct.

Although I would replace "stupid" with "inattentive".

4. they keep saying 'fake menstrual blood'
why would they have fake menstrual blood?

of course you would want the torture to be effective so you would use the fresh stuff and make them see where it came from.

this smells like a lie on its face, i would suspect because the truth would mortify a lot of those christian bush loving ladies.
somewhere there is documention on how to torture muslim men and all of this is in there i am sure.

7. How does one make "fake menstrual blood"...
And how would one go about collecting enough of the real stuff to use?

10. Sgts. Michael Smith and Santos Cardona
Neither were ever charged with anything. Know this, the world will not forget. You may be selling real estate or something in Detroit years from now, and someone will remember. You effin sick perverted sadistic twisted cowards.

"Sgts. Michael J. Smith and Santos A. Cardona, Army dog handlers assigned to Abu Ghraib, told investigators that military intelligence personnel requested that they bring their dogs to prison interrogation sites multiple times to assist in questioning detainees in December and January."

6. My Guess is Hot Topics or Spencer's Gifts. Someplace "classy."
Actually, her testimony was that it was some sort of standard issue "shoulder leash" that just HAPPENED to slip around the prisoner's head and they just HAPPENED to snap some photos.

9. Military Intelligence. That's the oxymoronic part of the trial that never

gets told.

" The military has only pressed criminal charges against low-ranking soldiers at Abu Ghraib in a scandal that sparked international outrage against the United States.

On Thursday, the Army said it had relieved Army Col. Thomas Pappas, the former top military intelligence officer at Abu Ghraib, of his command, but it did not charge him criminally."

Use of Dogs to Scare Prisoners Was Authorized
Military Intelligence Personnel Were Involved, Handlers Say
By Josh White and Scott Higham
Washington Post Staff Writers
Friday, June 11, 2004; Page A01
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A32776-2004Jun10.html

"U.S. intelligence personnel ordered military dog handlers at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq to use unmuzzled dogs to frighten and intimidate detainees during interrogations late last year, a plan approved by the highest-ranking military intelligence officer at the facility, according to sworn statements the handlers provided to military investigators"

This may all be leading up to Task Force 121
http://www.rotten.com/library/conspiracy/task-force-121/
and the 'higher ups' may reside in this particular area of MI

"Although it hasn't been definitely established yet, rumors have been flying thick that Task Force 121 may have been involved in directing interrogations at Abu Ghraib and elsewhere. TF121 has the particular misfortune to have been sponsored by the Defense Department's top spook, Stephen Cambone.

An Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence, Cambone is more or less the top civilian exclusively responsible for military intelligence, including collection and covert operations. Cambone is an obvious choice to "take one for the team," and it looks like the Congressional overseers of the Defense Department are ready to take him as the first in a series of sacrificial lambs....

One of the benefits of using a group like Task Force 121 as a secret army, carrying out the country's dirty work all over the world, is that Special Forces mission are not included under the War Powers Act."

So far, the little people (as Leona Helmsly would have put it) are taking it for the team.
