Dean makes me proud to be a Democrat. As much as Russert wanted to trip him up throughout the interview, Dean couldn't have explained the concept of our party's beliefs better. Russert's pimp-quality criticisms were no match for Dean's ability to think quickly (& intelligently) on his feet. I kept thinking, 'brilliant'!

I really despise Tim Russert's hypocrisy in shielding the Republicans' obvious character flaws & finding blame, mostly taken out of context, with the Democrats. Dean handled it well, though.

7. Pretty good
If we can depend on the short term memory of Americans, that interview is a pretty good first step. A little shakey in areas, but strong enough in the important areas to balance it out. Very clear when he said our values say nobody goes to bed hungry, etc. Best part. Also good when he brought up John Bolton as one who pressured people on intelligence, excellent. Hope we get a transcript soon because we need to pull out some of those talking points and use them. Stay on message, that's the key.
