I just watched Howard Dean kick Judy Woodruff's hiney ..
on "Inside Politics."

She tried to get in a jab or two at the end of a topic - but he'd respond; he just plain out-talked her, showing viewers that WE were the MORAL party (the Democrats - v. the Republicans).

I'm so proud of him.

1. I saw that also and was so proud. That is the way
to handle these so-called journalists. It was beautiful!

2. He really did do an excellent job!
Woofwoof kept trying to interrupt him by inserting her "but.. but... but..." while he was talking..

..but he carried the interview and did awesome.

Loved the "Give them Hell Harry" comment he made :)

4. I know, you guys, he just TALKED FASTER.
I loved the 'Harry' comment also.

I also loved when he said that the difference between 'pro-life Democrats' and 'pro-life Republicans' was that 'pro-life Democrats' cared about the kid after he or she was born, and supported programs to assist families with care.

I'm fervently pro-choice, but I still thought it was a great line.

22. Ha!
This is what my Mom, who watches way more of these political shows than I do, says...that we need Democrats who talk faster on these shows. Howard rocks! Smart, tough...and he talks fast. Go get 'em, Dr. Dean. I'm very happy he's our party chair. :)

It would almost be worth paying for CNN to see him make that tool look like a fool.

when she tried to shove words in his mouth and he spit them back at her. Good job, Doc!

6. Notice that she re-asked the same questions Russert asked?
It was kinda spooky. Like there's a list of questions that the Corporate Media can ask Howard Dean -- so he doesn't get an opening to discuss any of the "hot" and off limits topics like Iraq, Torture, Downing Street Memo, and a thousand other things that would connect with people.

They ask if he's worried about Ken Mehlman, or why he said he hates Republicans, or about abortion, etc. It's getting tiresome and I think Dean is working to breakthrough that barrier. He was great today.

7. They inserted the Wind-me-up-Tim vocal recording
into the Wind-me-up-Judy doll.
Gosh, are you insinuating that these dolls are programmed by the same person??

15. I actually WATCHED
MTP because of Howard. It is a miracle the set is in one piece. Timmy Tool really, really pissed me off w/ his agenda. I loved Howrd shutting him down @ one point w/ 'That's policy, I don't do that!'

24. Remember when Keith Olbermann actually acknowledged, on the
air, that he'd received several emails of "talking points" from the White House and even paraphrased what he'd received before interviewing Joseph Wilson?
Then, he ditched the "talking points" after making fun of them.

I became an avid KO fan that night.

10. Blast from the Past: in 2000 GOP Primary debates, Woodruff asked
Edited on Tue May-24-05 03:55 PM by AP
Alan Keyes why he thought immorality was on incline if the indicators of immorality -- out of wedlock births, crime and the number of people on welfare -- were on decline.

Woodruff thinks that it's immoral to be poor.

That's crazy RW B.S. if you ask me.

12. I wonder who writes that stuff? Woodruff? Some team of RW'ers?
It certainly wasn't God, because got said the meek shall inherit the earth and Jesus considered the poor and the oppressed his people.

14. He's a GREAT DNC chairman
Didn't like him much as a candidate, love him as a party spokesman. Besides being the party of morality, we are also the party of BRAINS and SOLUTIONS - The Doctor brings all of that to his job.

21. "Hiney" is such an amusing word. Much funnier than "ass". Why don't you
see it used more? It is the only way we were allowed to refer to our ass when I was a kid. Why is that?

.... who can think on their feet and turn the talking points into boomerangs.

Dean's great, I didn't see this one but I saw him on MTP and he made the Russet look like the reverse-liposuction-potato-head that he is. :)
