The Jay Rockefeller vs Pat Roberts dust-up

What's the truth here?

Rockefeller sounded totally credible, then Roberts rushed down to the floor to tear his arguments apart.

Anybody know what are the real facts?

Senate floor.

Rockefeller dropped a little bomb saying that Bolton had not only asked NSA for the American names on the classified intercepts, but he had shared one of those names with someone else at state, without the authorization to share classified info.

Pat Roberts came down from his office to the Senate floor, to say that Bolton did have authorization to share the info, and besides, the person he shared it with already had the name.

I got the distinct impression that the White House heard Rockefeller's testimonry and rang up Roberts to get down to the floor to contridict him.

Does anybody here have any other information about this?
