Do you think there is a conspiracy to keep baby boomers from retiring?

When the baby boomers retire there will be a big drop in the amount of taxes collected. Do you think the repubs lowered the taxes for the rich and messed up the economy so that baby boomers will keep working or retire and still work part time?
1. I think that the current regime wants to create 2 classes in this country
They want the Have it alls and the have nothings.
They want to create a 3rd world nation out of America where they are the Aristocracy and everyone else are the peasants.
Then the can get labor very cheap and when they bring those cheap jobs back to Amerika, the peasants will be grateful to labor 18 hours a day in dangerous dirty conditions. That is what I see happening in the US today.
2. Sure feels like it. Letting corporations walk away from their pension
obligations or transferring to a 'cash balance' scheme, plus wanting to 'reform' Social Security. My previous employer managed to reduce my monthly pension amount by $600 per month in the 6 years before I retired. Now Bushco wants to cut my SS benefit as well. So much for working hard over 40 years to plan out your retirement!
The 'privatization' plan is to prop up the stock market when the boomers begin to withdraw their money for retirement.
3. That's why there is such an upswing in Real Estate Investment
People are worried about being swindled out of their retirements. It's simply unbelievable how much the public has gotten ripped off by these corporate bastards! * & Co want to rip us off some more with Social Security-the last thing they want is for any of us is to retire and be able to survive! We can't let them touch Social Security-otherwise we are all TOTALLY screwed! :grr:
