Lindsey Graham has just stated THE most BOGUS excuse
for voting for Bolton than anyone could ever have imagined!!!

In these days when the UN's reputation is so tarnished by all the scandals and the reputation of the US is damaged abroad... (as he said)

He's voting for him because he's someone that CONSERVSATVES can trust in these days of turmoil at the UN. He's someone who can repair the reputation of the UN with a large group of American people - the CONSERVATEVES who are so disillusioned with the UN

My God, I can't even believe it...

What kind of world is this we're living in when politicians can get away with making argumments on critical nominations with arguments like that....

7. The cloture vote is schedule for 6pm et
The dems are trying to get together enough votes to vote against cloture so they can keep working on getting information about the intercepts. They're saying that it's not a filibuster, but they want to delay the vote for more time. I don't know whether they'll be able to pull it offor not.

Kennedy is talking now.

9. Sounds to me like Lindsey boy is the one trying to
get back in the good graces of the conservatives. He was one of the front men in the compromise that did not go over well with those idiots, you know. He's looking toward 2008. I think he wants to be Mc Cain's running mate.

That's an interesting idea, I hadn't considered that. Hmmm... well, it certainly wouldn't convince ME to turn towards McCain!
