2. Could she be any more chipper and perky?
Edited on Sun May-29-05 07:10 AM by CottonBear
She's speaking about the republican stand on stem cell research.
Why does she hate science?

edit: Stacie Rumenap, Deputy Director of the ACU.
She used to work for Bob Barr, the former Republican congresman from GA.

The host is not taking many calls. I heard Brian Lamb say that taking calls was the most important part of the show. I suppose that's not true when a Republican is the guest. I can't wait for a Democrat to ask her a tough question.

4. Republicans have a seemingly endless supply of fascist Barbie Doll bimbos.
What an idiot: "polls go up and down." "all politics is local." Ya think?

The image of a fascist Barbie Doll bimbo cracks me up. We could market a doll like that! Pull the string and she'll say "BRAWK! UP OR DOWN VOTE! BRAWK!"

6. "The media is controlled by liberals" LIAR!
Every time her string is pulled another right wing talking point is repeated.

Ah ha! She's not married and doesn't have kids.
Just like Ann Coulter , Laura Ingrahm et al.
Shouldn't she be adopting a "snowflake baby"?

18. Here is her bio
Stacie Rumenap ,Deputy Director/CPAC Director

Prior to joining ACU and ACUF, Stacie Rumenap was the Executive Director of U.S. Term Limits (USTL) - the nation's largest term limits group committed to restoring citizen government by limiting politicians' terms at all levels of government. Founded in 1992, USTL advocates congressional limits of six years in the U.S. House and 12 in the U.S. Senate, and has assisted with 23 successful congressional term limits campaigns; and, helped enact term limits on statewide offices in 36 states, 21 state legislatures, and on over 3,000 local officials - including those in 8 of the 10 largest cities.

In her role at USTL, Ms. Rumenap led statewide initiative and referendum campaigns, fought legislative battles aimed at destroying term limits laws, and mobilized grassroots and media efforts around the country. Ms. Rumenap has appeared on Fox News, and on hundreds of radio talk shows. Her written work has been featured in a wide variety of publications across the country.

Before joining USTL, Ms. Rumenap worked as the Executive Director for the National Center for Growth, and on a Georgia congressional campaign that led her to serve as an aide on Capitol Hill.

Ms. Rumenap holds a M.A. in Legislative Affairs from the George Washington University, and a B.A. in Journalism from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Initiative & Referendum Institute, holds a leadership position with the Junior League of Washington, and is an active member of the Independent Women’s Forum, Young Leadership Network, and several art museums in Washington, DC. She’s a former board member of the Georgia State Society

I'm surprised that she had the balls to publish this pablum.

They do it all the time and expect to get away with this kind of shit.

20. What exactly does a deputy director of the ACU do?
I don't think that she was hired for her rhetorical skills or intellect.
She didn't say anything at all. She just parroted talking points.

26. Ha! A Dem caller just told Steve that Stacie didn't answer any questions.
Edited on Sun May-29-05 07:56 AM by CottonBear
I'm glad a caller made note of that. It was sort of suspicious that almost no Democratic callers were put on the air during her segment.

Apparently, there was suppossed to be a Democratic guest as well, but they cancelled. I'm sure that Bu$hco didn't want Miss Stacie to go head to head in a debate.

27. It would have been a blood bath
She would have smiled, looked to the side, twirled her hair and fall back on the same three lame assed talking points.

She's so lucky that the other guy didn't show up.
