Poll question: Is Bush an Impeachable President?
NOTE: I'm NOT asking if we can get the votes, but rather, is there enough evidence mounting (see the many threads about the DSM and the pre-war aggressions by the U.S.)?

1. There is plenty of evidence to impeach Bush, and more importantly
lots more evidence to convict him of war crimes and crimes against humanity at The Hague (that has no death penalty).

16. Since then does evidence matter???
To impeach Bush you need a congress willing to do so.

That ain't going to happen.

I have a better chance of scoring with Jessica Simpson

2. Of course there is ! What I also wonder is why no country, anywhere
in the world has brought up charges at the World Court when he broke international laws to start an illegal fucking war !!!

You just riled me up !!!!

3. I think so.
If fricking MONICA was impeachable, what about WMD? Way more significant, however you slice it.

And after 2006, barring massive fraud, it could happen...

not holding my breath, or anything...

4. War crimes and crimes against humanity are impeachable offenses
Edited on Tue May-31-05 05:38 PM by Jack Rabbit
They certainly fall under the heading of high crimes and misdemeanors.

Anybody who thinks Bush isn't guilty of either is in denial.

5. If Clinton had pulled all the same crap that Bush has...
He would have been out of here faster than a baseball player hitting a line drive to center field.

8. Listening to this Watergate
stuff and it seems like Nixon was such an amateur in comparison.

11. Actually, * is the amateur. Nixon was the professional who would
never have taken things that far. And when push came to shove, he resigned rather than force the country through the trauma of an impeachment trial.

Even during the worst of the Reagan years I never imagined that anyone could make Nixon look good.

9. The evidence is mounting daily
Yeah baby, he's gonna fry or at least rot in a jail cell when we're done with him. The beauty is that they are so arrogant, they are doing it to themselves... I am honestly a little sorry for real Republicans whose party is getting ruined...

10. YES! That's why the repubs will pull out all stops to keep both
houses of congress from changing hands. If they lose either house, and the majority control changes, we will see articles of impeachment drawn up.

13. I dont think the hard evidece is out there for a yes vote in a trial,
but there is definately enough for an impeachment investigation to occur.

14. In normal circumstances no,
but using the standard the Republicans used to impeach President Clinton, the answer becomes yes.

15. The amount of evidence is irrelevant. There will be no impeachment
with the Repub's in power. End of story.

17. Dems can't do it alone
We need the support of republicans who want their Grand old Party back. There still are old fashion republicans - who value frugality, and isolationism- like what we used to associate with Cato.
Hopefully some of them will get sick of the lies and value democracy. It can happen- we have to blow the lid off. The truth has to come out! We all have to do whatever we can no shirking
