1. 2006 we have a chance to get Bush impeached...
Edited on Thu Jun-02-05 12:00 PM by dhinojosa
actually January 2007. This is more important. I don't want him to run off into the sunset while nearly 2000 dead U.S Troops and countless dead Iraqis lay in his wake without paying for his crimes.

On edit...added some clarity.

2. What I want is..
Information on the state of the campaigns of '06. THIS is the one that needs to be attended too. The '08 campaign is, so far, completely irrelevant.

It is now HALFWAY through '05.. We need to have the "campaign" link of DU up and running!!

3. HELL, YES! Don't you see what's going on, people?
I think most of them are attempts at starting flame wars so that DUers will be distracted from more important questions, such as winning back Congress and ensuring honest elections. The rest of those threads are started by clueless people who think the presidential race is the only one that counts.

Note that all the people who propose Hillary or Clark or Dean or Kerry or Gore or anyone else for 2008 all announce it in this "gee whiz" manner as if they're the first person who thought of it. They get real indignant if anyone disagrees.

I would urge all sensible DUers to ignore all the "Whooziwhatsit in 2008" threads and let the trolls feed off one another.

5. you go sis !
you are on the money, winning back a congressional majority and cleaning up the voting system for fair future elections is what we need to worry about right now.

btw, we have a pretty good shot at house & senate majorities in '06.

Lets focus on the task at hand, Prez candidates for 2008 are a divisive distracting mirage right now.

:yourock:

12. Just don't read them.
Edited on Fri Jun-03-05 06:11 AM by Mark E. Smith
There's lots of posts that I find annoying. "Should I beome a Green?" is a topic that particularly annoys me as the individual invariably goes into a long windy confessional about how painfully conflicted they are, yet are these feelings really fair because shouldn't caring so deeply be a rewarding personal experience? Yadda yadda yadda.

You just have to move on to something else.

13. No, they are unimportant so I say let people have their fun.
I have been a Kerry supporter since forever and still am but I haven't decided if I will support another run.

I'm keeping an open mind and I would hope that supporters of other former candidates would eventually open their minds. 2004 was not like 2000 and 2008 will not be like 2004.
