8. Um... This is the same person who rigged Florida for Bush
She doesn't stand a chance in a fair election...

12. She's the only one whom Nelson has very positive numbers against
And the GOP won't run a primary challenger.

If the election isn't fair to begin with, it doesn't matter WHO runs, does it?

17. Well, that's true
But I'm just saying, this is the very person who helped give Bush Florida.

7. Doesn't matter how many wingnuts there are...
They control the machines. If they want her to win, she'll win!

9. An election involving Katherine Harris?
Who is deciding the voter roles and is there a paper trail on those BBV machines yet? If not...then don't count Katherine out...might as well not bother calling it an "election" either...

Call it an installation. Because that's what I fear is going to happen.

13. Bill N. will wipe the floor with her....
I'm sure some of you will disagree, but this women has no staying power at all. And they still have not gotten that stain out of her chair from 2000.

14. HAHAHAHAHA! Bring it!
Oh, man. Can hardly stop laughing. Harris stands zero chance in this state. She can win in a district election in a heavily GOP district to get in the House, but statewide to get in the Senate? PUH-lease. Not in a million years.

Yeah, there's lots of GOP in Florida. But the most populous counties are heavily Democratic. And a huge swath of the independent, mushy-middle voters can't stand her, same as the Dems.

She'll get crushed. Hell, we might as well try and run a more-liberal Dem against Nelson in the primary under these conditions.

16. I assume you're refering to electronic voting problems
Well, if the problem is electronic voting, and election theft on a massive, macro-level, then the very act of voting is irrelevant, as is this thread, so I'm assuming my vote counts.

If it doesn't, we no longer live in a democracy. And if you live under a tyranny, then the only way you change the system is through violent revolt. I'm not ready to load my guns quite yet.

18. Bill will kick her ass
Katherine Harris may be from one of the wealthiest families in Florida, but she is not popular outside her small circle of constituents. She was instrumental in engineering GWB's "victory" in 2000 and most of us have not forgotten it. Now she is just a hood ornament for the GOP in Florida.

There are a lot of wingnuts down here, but I think Katherine would galvanize the opposition if she ran against Bill for a Senate seat. Who needs her? Besides people are trying to run her over on the streets. (Too bad the guy missed her)
