moderate rethugs are not on our side at all. All they do is give the Republicans the majority in Congress all the while talking a good game. Plus, they always side with the GOP on the important issues anyway.

The "moderate" compromise saved the filibuster by giving the Republicans all the judges they want and this was a great thing for the Democratic Party.

Gee, how come the Republicans managed to successfully filibuster and block all sorts of Democratic nominees when they were in the minority? Did they make good compromises that the blogsphere embraced?
