All the candidates say they will make sure we can buy drugs from Canada

Well, Whoop-de-doo!

As if that is the solution to the healthcare crisis in this country. Anyway, what's to keep the drug companies from raising the drug prices on Canada? I hope the politicians do not think this is enough cover for them so that they do not have to initiate any healthcare reform. That is one tiny step for man and a giant facade for not doing anything to fix our healthcare system.

And now, Gorge Bush, Jr is ready to come out with his healthcare proposal, which will probably take effect in 2010 or some such nonsense. People need help now. Today. Not after the election. We know who is beholden to the drug and pharmaceutical companies and who would like to propose a "market" solution which will be no solution at all. The market is a failure when it comes to providing healthcare to our people. Screw your "market"!
