In response to NY Times oppo hit piece on Kerry
Here are the main criticisms brought up in teh NY Times oppo hit piece today:

After the Cold War Kerry supported cutting funding for intelligence to pay for other priorities then changed his tune post-9/11.

Response: You want to fight him on nationa security, Bring It On.

In 1997, he voted to require elderly people with higher incomes to pay a larger share of Medicare premiums.

Response: That line of attack sure worked for Geppy in Iowa didn't it.

After the Republicans took control of Congress in 1994, Mr. Kerry proclaimed himself "delighted with seeing an institutional shake-up because I think we need one."

Response: Hmm. Sound familiar to the good Dr.'s words?

He voted for IWR, the USA Patriot Act and No Child Left Behind.

Response: Gee, so did Edwards. Who were the big winners in Iowa again?

3. Really
Kerry needs to be attacked, so we can see if he can survive it and deserve the nomination.

7. New to the Democratic Primary?
Dean attacked Kerry for approximately a year, Dean's attacks and Kerry's belated response to them were a big reason why Dean vaulted over Kerry in the polls.

Kerry's been attacked for most of his adult life and he's still standing.

8. Read the IWR
http://usinfo.state.gov/regional/nea/iraq/text/1010res.htm

Aside from the "sneak and peek" (as Clark calls it) loopholes bush and Ashcroft have exploited, what else should be eliminated from the Patriot Act? Or should it all be eliminated?

Which part of No Child should be eliminated (that Kerry himself has not mentioned)?

5. It should be noted that Geps attacks
did work in that they brought down Dean's numbers.
