Has anyone considered leafleting their neighborhood re the DSM?

Yea, the "internets" and blogs are great and have pushed this forward but the majority of people are still getting their news from the MSM.

So, how possible would it be to speed the DSM along if there was a grassroots groundswell committed to bringing the issue to peoples doorsteps. I'm talking about something as simple as dropping a 8-1/2 leaflet to the five neighbors on your right and five neighbors on your left that has a simple message about the DSM and info giving both the downingstreetmemo.org and afterdowningstreet.org websites.

Powerful and a great idea!

I also suggest asking it as a question to anyone I come in contact with. But I like the flyers as it takes the personal and gives just the truth, so there is less for anyone to disagree with, before getting the facts.

I've designed two different flyers and just had to pull back a bit because the longer it took me to do them the more, shall we say, shrill they became.

I'd like to keep it neutral because I don't want my liberal rant to get in the way of an open mind.

But I like your idea of using the first page of downingstreetmemo.org

5. When folks receive my two set DVD

of the rally and Hearing they should make copies and leave them laying around in laundromats, and other public areas.. it should tell them most of the story right there and in a basiclly nonpartisan way..

Everyone was so caring and civil, nothing like Sensenbuggar :)

DVDs are cheap at Costco or other outlets.. spread them far and wide..

They'll be done and shipped by tommorrow so if you donated for one you'll be getting them early next week..
