California special election is on. Local DJ had a great idea.
Saturday DJ (local - KTLK - Air America) Johnny Wendell said Saturday that if we had to have a special election to please the governator we should add a recall initiative.

What ya'll think? Is it possible to do this? I'm new to CA politics. Don't know how these things work.

1. Too late to add to the ballot
Signatures would have to be collected and the David recall ppl took a month an a half to gather theirs.

Q: Can other ballot measures be added?
Eight ballot initiatives have either qualified for the ballot or are likely to qualify once the submitted signatures are verified. It's too late to put an initiative on the ballot by gathering signatures, but the Legislature can still add measures with a two-thirds vote of each house.
