Democratic Senator, for better or worse.

I may not agree with him 100% of the time, but he's one of ours.

2. A friend of Wall St and financial interests.
Whether that's good or bad, you be the judge.

Whether a Senator to the left of Biden on these issues could be elected to the Senate in Del., I don't know.

I'd rather have a Dem than a Republican, if that's the choice.

But if we're talking about POTUS, I think we could find someone more liberal than Del. has found in Joe Biden. Nationwide, we can elect and friend of the working person who believes we can have a marketplace with full employment and competition and still do well -- much better than we're doing today.

4. Biden will not be a serious 2008 candidate
Every cycle he announces he is going to run, and every cycle he drops out before the primaries. He was interviewed in a Delaware paper, and he complained how hard fund raising was - - and how much he'd have to raise just to run. Serious Dem donors know he does this little dance every cycle, and won't pony up until he proves he's serious this time. The odds of Biden staying focused long enough to prove he's going to go the distance this time are about 50 to 1.
