Did Kerry ever declare his thoughts on the Cape Wind project
Did John Kerry ever say if he was for or against it. I seem to remember that Romney was against it and the Kennedys were against it, but that Kerry wasn't coming out strongly for or against it. If I were him I would stay away from the issue. If he supports Cape Wind, a lot of well connected folks in Mass will be ticked at him. If he comes out against it, ouch, hard to imagine a more clear NIMBY "Not in my back yard" example to use against a candidate.

1. Does anyone even know what Cape Wind is
With the environment a major issue, I wonder why Cape Wind doesn't get more play on here, maybe it did a while back before I joined DU.

2. Tsk tsk
Senator Kerry would appreciate if you didn't bring this up until the studies are complete. You know what I mean?

5. Heck, I haven't even made up my mind on the issue, and I live here
it's really complicated.

Is the placing correct? What's the impact on the environment in the water? What's the impact on the birds? What's the impact on the fish and other sea life?

Fuck the ocean views. Everyone knows that. But can we safely impliment the wind farm where it's situated without making a bigger environmental mistake?
