Chickenhawk does Fort Bragg
Goodness gracious....if I didn`t know about Bush`s military history, I`d swear he had some actual war experience, after listening to his tough blow-`em-up talk tonight. Truth told, this was just more Rovian theatre decorated up with a pale blue tie and some flag graphics. Will the citizens buy it? Depends on how effective the numerous references to 9/11 were. Maybe folks like Paula Zahn and Joe Scarborough will lend a helping hand in driving Bush`s points home.

Apparently this was Honor the Coalition Night. All of a sudden Bush is Mr.International Friend. What a blessing after so many of our sidewalks got stained from those smashed French wine bottles and after Mr. Bolton hoped out loud that the top ten floors of the United Nations would plummet to the ground. Now all that has changed. The world is lining up behind Commander Man, ever so eager to follow him as he designs a free and fair Iraq. God Bless America and pass the napalm.

I laughed the loudest when Bush mentioned how historians would view this chapter in our history. Does he think all he has to do is send Dan Bartlett to two or three publishing companies to take care of the pesky facts? It will take a little more effort than that to erase the stain of electrodes wired to genitals and Cheney`s Iraqi oilfields maps he so generously shared with the folks in the need-to-know category.

There isn`t a corporate media outlet in the country that can produce enough SHARK ATTACK diversions to cover up the fact that we have a basic war criminal in the White House.

3. That may be right. It's been a while since I've seen that list.
There were only 2-3 who'd served, included top Republicans.

Mr. Rumsfeld attended Princeton University on academic and NROTC scholarships (A.B., 1954) and served in the U.S. Navy (1954-57) as an aviator and flight instructor. In 1957, he transferred to the Ready Reserve and continued his Naval service in flying and administrative assignments as a drilling reservist until 1975.

Besides Powell, I think Rumsfeld is the lone vet in the Bush admin from 2000 on.

5. All of these kids dead, and he wants to know how history will view him?
Sorry, didn't watch tonight because a friend of ours died... he was in his fifties and it is quite certain his alcohol related disease was a direct by-product of the years this man spent in Viet Nam. Anyway, did Doosh really make this all about him?
