6. He was playing SRV the other day!
BTW, you have no friggin' idea what Bob Marley would do at this point in history.

He'd probably against anyone that criticized B***, if you ask me.

10. well i`m back on the Clark wagon
anyone who plays srv gets my vote-the "journey" thing caused me to change my vote the other day, but i`m concerned about the Marley thing- is Clark going to try and get the rasta vote?

i`ve decided to vote for the candidate that plays the music i like the best.that seems to make more sense than anything i`ve heard so far...

15. He wouldn't support the US
much less some fascist like Clark who thinks the SOA is some kind of great organization

Marley thought the CIA tried to interfere with the Jamaican government...he would be no fan of typical, status-quo US politics.

I love Marley, but you have no idea who he would or wouldn't support.

If his choice was between Bush and Clark, he might well pick Clark.

25. Get Up, Stand Up isn't about "rights" so much as its about
the right of each and every man to think for himself, and reject the pious who insist on fealty to religion

I think Kucinich is the only one who comes close to being able to use it, but I don't know. I'd ask Rita Marley or Ziggy before using it.

17. Bob Marley's dad was a white British officer, by the way.
His mom, for a while, was a maid in Maryland.

I don't hink Marley would have any problem with liberal anti-imperialist.

And this is a much bettter choice than Journey. "She's just a small town girl..."

Also Bob Marley...well you know, he was todays MLK, IMO. I fell in love with him in about 30 seconds.

as Bob would have requested, (like the Peter Tosh song "Legalize it, don't critisize it.") then Bob, Peter and I would forgive his theft of intellectual property rights by using one of the greatest songs of any genre in the history of culture (I say with no fear of hyperbole).

At least his handlers have great musical taste.

40. To Bush:
"We sick an' tired of - a your ism - skism game -
Dyin' 'n' goin' to heaven in - a Jesus' name, Lord.
We know when we understand:
Almighty God is a living man.
You can fool some people sometimes,
But you can't fool all the people all the time.
So now we see the light (What you gonna do?),
We gonna stand up for our rights! (Yeah, yeah, yeah!)"

Bob Marley Get Up, Stand Up

Don't give up the fight!
