Poll question: Forget those other polls. Let's do our own unofficial DU Poll :
Edited on Sun Jan-25-04 07:17 PM by kentuck
Let's do our own up to the minute poll as we see it at this moment.
Who is gaining and who is losing support? Has Lieberman lost his "jomentum"? Has Howard Dean stopped his freefall of the last few days and now gaining some ofhis lost support?

edited for spelling

1. Dean has clearly stopped his free-fall.
He is heading up and has secured his second place spot.

5. poll suggestion:
Try giving a a list of orders the candidates will finish in to choose from.

like:
Kerry/Dean/Edwards/Clark/Lieberman
Dean/Kerry/Edwards/Lieberman/Clark

ect, ect..
Since there would be a lot of possibilities you might want to just choose the most likely or perhaps limit it to the ordering of the top 3.

I agreed with many of the circumstances listed here, but could only vote for one.

6. This poll was an attempt to get an idea of the present sentiments..
and direction primary is going. wanted to get some more generic information than simply who and what order of finish. From information gathered so far, and this is a DU poll - not an official poll - it appears that most of our responders think that Governor Dean has stopped his freefall and is rising again in the polls. There are few responders that think Kerry is going to continue to increase his lead. A good number of Clark supporters are confident that he may do better than the "official' polls are suggesting...

7. well, I agreed with half of the points...

I agreed that Kerry has peaked and will have to fight to hold his spot. I agreed that Dean has stopped his freefall and is on his way back. I agreeded that Edwards would finish strong in 3rd place. And I agreed that Clark will finish near the bottom.

So which one do I vote for?
That was my problem with the poll.

8. Which one did you most "strongly" agree with?
:) I agree it is not the best-planned poll?

9. I went with Dean's freefall being over...
it was the most obvious "duh" answer to give. Now I wish I had been more adventurous and declared Clark would finish near the bottom.

It seems like its just a fight for who can kiss their candidate's ass the most.

10. It may seem obvious to you but....
it is not obvious to everyone else that Dean's freefall is over.

11. umm.. out of 10 questions "Dean has stopped his freefall" gets 40%
and "Dean will continue to freefall" has gotten 0% so far. Zero. Not one person willing to vote for that one. (someone will now that I have said it, just to be an ass, I'm sure!) ;)
