Send Karl Rove His Pink Slip!

It is time to hold the President accountable. He made a promise to the American people that he'd fire whoever leaked the identity of Valerie Plame, an undercover CIA agent. Now that we know the leaker was, at least in part, Karl Rove; it is time for the President to keep his word.

We are sending along our own pink slips to Karl Rove because the President refuses to do it himself. If the White House ends up knee deep in pink paper, perhaps the President will finally give Mr. Rove the legitimate pink slip he so greatly deserves.
Putting the life of an undercover CIA agent in jeopardy cannot be tolerated. Mr. Rove clearly deserves his pink slip, and we’re going to give it to him.

I’m sending along the following Pink Slip to Karl Rove at the White House in hopes that President Bush will finally keep his word. Mr. Rove must be fired for leaking the identity of an undercover CIA agent, putting her life and our national security at great risk.

Mr. Rove's penchant for gossip and backstabbing fellow workers has resulted in serious damage to an already tarnished corporate image. R. also seems to be unable, at times, to be less than forthwith when confronted about involvement in petty office politics.

Well, I'm not an English teacher, but I am a professional Interpreter, so language and nuance are my job. Anyway, I think you meant to say "forthright", which means honest and upstanding. "Forthwith" means immediately or at once.

I'm sorry to be a noodge; I'm just a fussbudget on words. (I've realized a time or two that I've used an incorrect word myself and was soooo embarrassed.)

I've only been lucky enough to have one hyper right wing neocon thug site quote me. It was when I'd just found out the ANWAR vote. Was nothing but a bunch of swear words as I was just fuming, and posted my initial gut reaction. Boy howdy they hate the environment, and they were a bunch of resource dominionists at that.

Funny thing on the alliteration I wrote that out fast but I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to think of a good f word for errors and couldn't come up with anything other than "fuck ups"...lol, that would not have been veyr empathetic I think.

Courtesy is to me tact, and tact is invaluable to conversion, unless as you pointed out above it is just used to cover over nasty nasties and corner some poor schlump.
