I'm not too computer savvy. I just right clicked on the line you click to watch the video, then pasted it here. Is there a better way? Also, made a mistake, it's not an ad. It should be.
Anyway, you can go to clark04.com and go to the video blog on the home page and you'll find the Max video there. You'll be amazed.

10. Not your problem
It is just a slow loader and people think it's not going to open. The link is fine.

4. As a 17 year old who has been interested in politics a long time...
I highly doubt this is completely authentic...

No bash or anything, but I find it a little hard to believe that this kid knows as much as he articulates there, maybe a child actor? But then again that would still be a hell of a lot of talent for a child actor. (I was one of those too ;) )

6. I wouldn't know
But the kid was in the audience at a rally the other day and spoke the same way.

9. Yes
I saw him on TV at that rally. When Wes Clark was walking around meeting people after the rally. Max's Mom approached Clark and said her son had a question for him. Max then asked a question about education and "No Child Left Behind". Looked spontaneous and authentic that day but I could be wrong?

13. Perhaps he is a child actor...
... but to me he looks more like simply a very gifted child, perhaps a genius. I've got a nephew who articulates like that. He taught himself how to program a computer at something like 6 years old. They are rare but there are indeed kids as smart as that.

11. Hey I'll vote for Max
For the best ad by a supporter for the candidate of his choice. What a fantastic kid. Smart and personable. He thinks on his feet and is probably more knowledgeable than a whole lot of people who can vote right now. The kid is only 11 and he lays it down. This kid could beat bu$h in a debate.

Go Max Go.

Sonia

29. its really sad
but you're right...
this 11 year old has a better grasp of the issues than "Temporary"

If its true that people get the government they deserve, then we must have been very bad people in another life.

14. This is a 28MB download, so dial up might have a problem with it.
Also, it's a Quicktime file, so if you don't have that program installed (and enabled as a plug in for your browser), the file won't run.

BTW, it's downloading really slow even for me, and I'm on broadband! Server must be busy.....

18. Not an ad apparently
It's a video shot in a side room where a rally was held. It's part of a video blog the campaign started doing. A group of volunteers is doing the shooting, but the whole thing is being pulled together by a filmmaker from NY who offered his services.

19. I remember this kid from the rally on C-SPAN
What a find -- someone is a genius for putting a camera on him and letting it roll.

I hope the cut it down into a few tv spots.

Oh, and the kid knows his stuff, too. If Clark wins, I hope they bring this guy to the convention.

I have a dial up. Guess I need a DSL or cable modem hookup.

Is this add for real?

made a mistake in my subject line and realized too late to edit. It's a video, not an ad, taken of a kid that attended a Clark Rally and asked Clark a question. Apparently they then videotaped this after the rally.

My children are what motivate me. Though I suppose if you are a parent that is nothing new.

I was always fairly politically aware, and took my privilege to vote seriously.

But after my two daughters were born, and I saw what was happening under Bush, I really had no choice but to get involved.

I am now a member of Wisconsin for Clark, and have almost reached my limit for all the candidates.

I only hope my daughters will be as aware as this young man.

I know I am going to give them every opportunity to be so.
