So whatever happened to the DeLay investigations?
With all the nastiness around us, Rove, Supreme Court, missing white girls (oops), and all the other crap, DeLay seems to have been forgotten about. This is not acceptable. He, as well as the other neocons need to be brought down. Very few people have faith in our elected officials and DeLay is at least part of the reason. So let's not let him get away. Let's keep hammering the hammer.

2. The problem is that there are just too many scandals
No one can keep up with them all. So the current one dies down and goes away when the next one comes up. That's the problem. Too many scandals. Too much illeagal stuff going on. No one can keep track. And that's what they're counting on.

3. Too many scandels........
so why are they getting away with all these scandels. Not trying to flame you here, I agree with you on that point. But why are all these scandels being sent by the wayside??? I can't believe that the people of this nation will just sit there and take this from behind. It's frustrating.

6. Because it's too much
I know I can't keep up with everything. This one is about Tom Delay. There's Valerie Plame/Joe Wilson. Halliburton. Missing billions in Iraq. Stolen weapon stockpiles. I can't remember them all. It's too much. People have a short attention span, so when the next one comes, the old one goes away. If you commit one crime, people will focus. If you commit 1000, people don't remember the first 998 crimes.

4. It's the "Hey, look over there" strategy
played out over and over and over. They just keep starting fires, whether it be neocons, the religious right, or just plain old disgusting repugs, and hope that we can only put some of them out.

5. The problem is with the staff of the ethics committee
If you do a search on the issue in the archives, all the information has been presented. There are no changes, to my knowledge. The hang-up is if the committee staff will continue to be partisan as current, or neutral, under the re-adopted rules of the 108 Congress.
