Mrs. Jane Sullivan Roberts
Thhere is a link from the Freepers. It seems Mrs. Roberts, according to this Google search, is Executive Vice President of the Feminists for Life Organization.

I cannot link to any of the Google listings. It requires AUTHORIZATION. You have to be a MEMBER of this organization? What are they HIDING?

1. I believe Patricia Heaton is involved with them, too.
You know, the wife on "Everybody Loves Raymond."

2. Here's a link to the NY chapter
of which Patricia Heaton is president. The page is heavy with "sensitive" anti-choice stuff.

4. It smacks of a "front" organization to me
A group of right wingers who are curiously silent on everything except abortion. I think they just wanted to appropriate the word "feminist" the way Bush appropriated "leave no child behind" from the Children's Defense Fund.

6. There is nothing feminist about a woman telling me
what I can and cannot do with my own body. Do we have any "masculinist" rights groups? Oh, I forgot. The Federalist Society.

7. SocalDem has a great post on this
see the link on the Greatest page. It's an anti-choice, abstinence only group.

Still practicing abstinence. She's a beard for John John. It will come out just wait.

8. whilst engaged in Yahoo message board trolling
this past weekend, some freeper-type defending the stand that rape victims should not be able to get abortions referred me to some MIT "pro-life" website, where another wingnut woman was holding forth on how glorious it was to be impregnated by your rapist and be forced to birth the evil spawn and relive every moment of your assault for nine fabulous months, not to mention the risk and pain of birthing the evil spawn.

This wingnut broad was also a member of the so-called "Feminists For Life". Personally, I think a Feminist For Life should be more concerned about women's deaths from illegal, unsafe, botched abortions, than the putative rights of a possible miscarriage.

Sickos all.

:patriot: cry the beloved country...
