Don't let the White House win with Supreme Nomination distraction tactic

Obviously, the story had legs and was running out from around the beltway fast, far, and furious.

All of the Repugs talking points to exonerate Rove were stupid on their face AND being refuted by new facts.

But the real problem was that the MSM was beginning to connect the dots back to war "justification", Cheney's office, and even Bush himself.

The more this story unfolds, the more people are becoming tainted.

Our job is to KEEP UP THE PRESSURE!! A White House engulged in treason and scandal is easier to battle on ALL fronts, including the Supreme Court nominee!!!

1. Tie it in!

It's hilarious that there were at least three leaks yesterday (It's Edith Clement; no, its not it's Edith Jones; no, its not her either) in the story that was supposed to divert us from leaks...

But on top of that there's a story somehwere here today discussing Lieberman and Roberts that suggests that Rove was involved with PICKING Roberts...how is it that a security risk and traitor gets to pick a Supreme Court justice?

6. Agree with the absolute importance of a Supreme Court nominee

BUT a White House stripped of credibility and mired in scandal is easier to fight. They know it, which is why they want MSM attention away from the Valerie Plame scandal and they want to rush Roberts through the nomination process before Fitgerald wraps up his investigation.

8. The time to fight a Supreme Court nominee was November 2004.

Now, in July 2005, it is pretty much too late.

that they were going to be naming the nominee as a distraction.

And the fucking media went right along with it, as though it were standard procedure. The stupid ass talking heads just said things like "Huh, that's interesting. It will be neat to see who he picks"

they dont even care that they are being used and manipulated like the tools they are.

The Dems (and bloggers) should stay on point and tie it down with something like:
The Republicans could not find it in themselves to make a stand against violations of our National Security and treason, in fact, they lied about it to the American people, yet they want us to accept the concept that they have our best interest in mind when they appoint judges?
