Why the hell is * making any SCOTUS nominations???
Okay, so we know who Shrub picked, but why are we letting him do it??? He was never elected, his crimes are staggering. He let 9/11 happen. He invaded Iraq for oil. And his puppet master leaked a covert CIA operative's name. There should be Senate proceedings opening up, not to confirm his toady to the SCOTUS, but to remove him and all of his cohorts from office.

3. It will only take pressure...
For the Rethugs to collapse. Then the House of Cards that is the Shrub admin will tumble.

2. good luck in an AEI/GOP-controlled Senate
We can't even filibuster. This looks pretty grim. Fitzgerald can indict but we can't convict in an AEI/GOP-controlled Congress or Supreme Court. We can't vote them out because of the election fraud.

Someone please tell me the good news.

4. Don't lose hope...
All the polls have Shrub at less than 50%, and the American people want a Dem Congress by staggering pluralities. Stand up and fight and we will win.

8. So you want to just give up?
Letting Shrub* just have his way should not be on our liust of things to do. We need to yell, scream, do anything to get our message out.

11. it's not that, but I don't see what's going anywhere
The congress has to vote to impeach but both houses are AEI/GOP-controlled. So impeaching will just get voted down. Changing congress during the midterm election will just fall prey to election fraud. What exactly is this FBI investigation supposed to do under these circumstances? How are we ever supposed to get democracy back from these usurpers?

12. See post 9.
We are making headway and the people will be on the lookout for fraud in 2006. We will win and shrub's days are numbered.

13. unfortunately impeachment is not a referendum
Also, what happens if we claim fraud? Where is the recourse? We haven't had recourse in the past two despite proving it immediately in Florida in 2000 and proving it again (this time belatedly) in 2004. In fact, in 2004 it got worse, because there was even less recourse. And in 2002 it all flew below the radar of public notice because there wasn't a president involved.

Seriously, we need something far more concrete than polls showing 89% of Democrats (or is that all Americans?) believe the elections were rigged. But I have no idea what can be done, just that there are holes in the story about getting something done about these things.

9. Welcome to DU!
I sense it, too! Have you heard about Zogby's poll re: Shrub and impeachment? I believe the percentage is at 53% in favor of impeachment proceedings. Keep in mind that these numbers are indicative of a poll taken when much of the population is still unaware of the DSM and other BS that many of us know about. It's important to note that the poll #'s for approval to go ahead on impeachment hearings for Clinton were at a whopping 38%! Zogby is frustrated because the media is hesitant to carry this story. IMO, within a matter of weeks, all hell is going to break loose for these ratbastards. Just wait until the prison pics and videos are released. Imagine how those #'s will rise!

Hang in, my friend. It's a trying time. I won't dispute that. Ours is a noble and just cause and we've got to remain focused and vigilant. These imposters are imploding as we speak. I feel it. We will take back our country. You can take that one to the bank. I believe that with my entire being. NGU. Never.

Peace.:patriot:
