My local birdcage liner is called The Express-Times. We have a clot of regular repuke party-line types that write LTTEs like clockwork and you can expect them to hew to the party line(Right wing whacko division) like you can expect the sun to rise in the east.
Here's a recent one. Notice that the sub-text of this piece is a desperate cry for effective medications:

Joe Wilson, I am certain, with his dour face all over television, telegraphs his intense hatred for Bush's having won the election. That is the reason all this is happening, another indication of just how low present-day Democrats will stoop to avenge their precedent-setting loss in November.
I have no doubt that in years to come the "deep throat" of this fiasco will be none other than Joe Wilson himself (with a little help from his friends).
The man has no principles ... using his wife in this pathetic end run around reality. This country is in deep trouble and not from the outside.
There is a name for the creation of alternative reality and then accepting it as the truth.
You saw a lot of this during the heyday of the militia movement. I always wondered where the militia movement was getting their material. I think I know now.
Call it tilling fertile ground for a future crop.
