j Millers lawyer says Fitzgerald looking into Millers phone calls from
9-11
this was from the AL Franken show earlier to day.

It may be that Fitzy is looking at the bigger picture here-- of course if the move to investigate Fitz in congress works it may for naught but----

1. Do you have a source ? Does this tie in with
Fitz looking at Tenet's personal stock or options investments on the same date ?

2. The Judith Miller story really sticks to me
IU cant figure out her role. I know she wrote some prettty good position papers for * and friends. And has one some P. prizes..

However I cannot understand her role and why she doesnt testify..

Unless she is or was a goverment agent.

It is pretty common to have agents use reporter as a cover.

Wonder if she was part of a overthrow saddam operation long ago and just got carried/ transitioned into anew role during this administration. I mean how does a NYT journalist get informants like peeps from the Exiled Iraq crowd(chalabi), etc..

Anyone have any thoughts or documents that might shed some light on this?

4. I aways believed Miller getting a hoax "anthrax letter" was a set up to
make her seem more sympathetic and believable. They were planning to use her to plant the WMD stories for their Iraq war salespitch.

13. Tom Brokaw's assistant
tested positive for Anthrax, but Judith Miller's letter did not contain Anthrax ~

Investigators combed the ABC News headquarters on Manhattan's Upper West Side yesterday after it was reported that a network producer's 7-month-old had been hospitalized with anthrax.

Unlike NBC, where Brokaw was forced to move out of his regular studio for at least a week, ABC's "World News Tonight" stayed in its third-floor home. The ABC producer who brought her son to work wasn't in that immediate area.

Judith Miller, a reporter for The New York Times who was sent a suspicious letter that tested negative for anthrax, wrote a first-person account about her experience and appeared on CNN's "Larry King Live" to discuss it.

Like hundreds of fellow NBC News employees, Brokaw was tested for anthrax and prescribed Cipro as a precautionary measure.

the American Media building in Lantana is still not habitable, but ABC only closed a studio for one week. What's wrong with this picture?

14. The Executive Director of the CIA on 9/11 was Buzzy Krongard -
he chaired Deutschebank/AB Brown until 1998. Buzzy was appointed by Tenet in March of 2001. Why would someone take a job at the CIA after the Deutschebank job?

On September 6 and 7 AB Brown had 4,744 puts on United Air Lines and 396 calls. Also of note - on September 15th the head of Deutschebank (Mayo Shattuck) resigned as head of AB Brown.

I wonder where Buzzy is today.

18. the interview was a repeat, don't know when Al talked to Abrams but
there are lots of items online about Fitzgerald going after phone records. I think the Miller 9/11 records might have to do with another investigation Fitzgerald headed - see bold print below.

Reporters' Files Subpoenaed

Fitzgerald studied gov't phone records to determine which reporters spoke to gov't officials

http://www.rcfp.org/news/2005/0225-con-report.html
:::
Last summer, Chicago U.S. Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald, who is also the special prosecutor in the unrelated investigation into who leaked the identity of undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame to reporters, threatened to subpoena the telephone records of Times reporters Philip Shenon and Judith Miller in a Chicago grand jury investigation. Fitzgerald believes that government agents leaked plans to raid two Islamic charities suspected of funding terrorists to the Times, and that Shenon and Miller tipped the charities to the raids when they called for comment. Shenon and Miller deny alerting the charities to the raids.

20. How would Miller or anyone else for that matter
know that the FBI was planning to raid anybody? Either she's a agent or someone on the inside tipped her off?
