DLC:Forget about Bush? He's increasingly irrelevant? Not on the 08 ballot?
Edited on Tue Jul-26-05 11:13 PM by orleans
no shit he's not on the ballot in 08! (at least not yet!)

but who can forget about him when he continues to fuck up this country along with his band of criminals? and if he's so irrelevant then maybe this whole rove thing is irrelevant too? and the war with the new torture videos? all irrelevant? I DON'T THINK SO!!!

Welcome to the Democratic Leadership Conference:

<snip>
"Think about the future, not the past. Forget about President Bush. He's the past, a lame duck who is increasingly irrelevant. He's not on the ballot in 2008. Democrats should not let their anger toward the president blind them from seeing the path to victory."

<snip>
"congressional Democrats, DNC Chairman Howard Dean, and the party's new Internet activists have delivered a largely negative and pessimistic message -- talking more about what's going wrong than how to make it right."

<snip>
"Criticize Republican policies when they're wrong, but always put country over party. And avoid personal attacks. Republicans are our adversaries, not our enemies."

Dear Al From,
I AM thinking about the future! You're the one in major denial.

2. Did GOP WH insiders “put country over party” when they committed treason?
I am all for the high road, but the GOP is not going to be taking it. That doesn’t mean that we have to betray our country when we tell the truth. In fact, telling the truth, not burying it, is the only thing that can save our country.

I agree, orleans, the DLC does not get it.
