Sirs-

Please stop the friendly fire; we are taking heavy casualties here.

We think it's best that you re-focus your fire power on wealthy Republicans who could lose everything if Bush-Republicans continue to drive the bus over the cliff. Leave us to deal with the rest of the center-right / center / center-left who share our values whilst voting against their best interests.

The gameplan is, afterall, to elect a Democratic majority in 2006.....right?

issuing ANY statement on behalf of the DLC.

That would be a great start, imo.

From makes the most unnecessarily venomous statements of any Dem this side of Zell Miller. It's no wonder some on the left reciprocate in kind, which only adds to the destructiveness of the initial attack.

2. I actually agree...

I am on record saying that Al From isn't helping. I think he should step down from his post in the DLC.

There is a difference between pitching a centrist message for independent pro-economic growth voters, and needlessly attacking other Democrats. This is especially true when the statements are strikingly bad -- often things die on their own if you don't bring attention to them.

4. I doubt it...

The DLC membership is unlikely to alter its behavior based on the opinions of a few people who post in on a website, much less a radical left echo chamber like the D.U., most members of which would hate them no matter what they did.

5. Keep up the 'radical left' BS rhetoric...

I realize that to many DLCers telling the truth and demanding justice is 'radical'...but RWing Democrats aren't making any friends when they continue to smear those who make up a majority of the party.

Remember this: the DLC represents a very small minority of the party and they need us more than we need them.

From is not the only one throwing out the insulting rhetoric.

...I wish you luck with your proselytizing DLC missionary man, I have a feeling you are going to need it.

As for me, I choose now to ignore your gospel and focus on my "radical" interest in the DSM offensive. Perhaps some day you will join us... for real I mean.
