Would the Bush twins be worth 40 goats and 20 cows?
Kenyan waits for Bill Clinton’s answer on offer of 40 goats, 20 cows to marry daughter

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — A Kenyan city councilman says he offered Bill Clinton 40 goats and 20 cows for his daughter’s hand in marriage five years ago. He’s still awaiting an answer.

Godwin Kipkemoi Chepkurgor wrote Clinton asking for Chelsea’s hand in 2000 when Clinton visited Kenya, Chepkurgor told the East African Standard newspaper.

Chepkurgor, 36, vowed to remain single until he gets an answer to his proposal to marry Chelsea, 25.

Chepkurgor, a city councilor in Nakuru, told Clinton of plans for a grand wedding presided over by South African Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

5. Clinton should put this guy out of his misery already
and say no but good luck.

As for the Bushes, they are worth a half drunk six pack and a couple packs of Marlboros. For both. (I wonder if they've ever done threesomes. They seem like the type that would.)

7. Jeez, this thread is nasty.
So, their dad is a dickhead... What have the Bush twins ever done, besides run up 5 figure bar tabs? Give them time to get a few atrocities under their belt before condemning them of the sins of the father.

13. Besides supporting their murderous father in the 2004 elections
Edited on Wed Jul-27-05 07:25 PM by AndreaCG
they were both dumb and arrogant enough to go drinking in public while underage, and got arrested and convicted of it.

Did Chelsea drink in college? Probably but she wasn't stupid enough to go partying in public.

If Jenna and Not-Jenna support their dad so much they should be in khaki in Iraq now.

9. Well it all depends....
Is that 40 goats and 20 cows each or for the both of them?
Are the 40 goats and 20 cows healthy goats and cows or
unhealthy goats and cows?
Are the 40 goats and 20 cows young or old?
Can their dad play with the 40 goats and 20 cows?
Can the twins ride the 40 goats and 20 cows?

Better ask Karl. Whatever he says.

14. only with so much
alcohol (vodka, screw the weak stuff) to decimate my cognitive reception and/or weed to make me indifferent.

but then again... can't choose the parents, and them making bush look bad ain't something i begrudge them for...supporting their family (right or wrong) well..a little more backbone woulda be nice but wimmins don't need that in New Century America.

but sexual despereration ought to have limits too...i'd take a pass (i'd like the vodka and the weed though).

16. I see I misjudged you
And I thought some of my sisters had been too hard on you. I'm not normally such a bad judge of character. This is a humbling, but necessary, lesson.

17. This thread demonstrates so amply
Start with sexist commentary, and it brings out more, like moths to a flame. This threads stands as powerful testimony to exactly what we mean ole feminists have been saying forever here at DU: your sexist comments foster a climate where sexism becomes MORE acceptable and worsens. Any discussion about buying or trading livestock for any woman on the entire planet is disgustingly misogynist, even if meant as a joke, and many of the comments that have come in response have been simply vile.

Shame on the lot of you.
