Help stop the Energy Bill...ACT NOW!!!
Follow the link below and tell your Senator to reject Delay's giveaway to the oil companies.

Reject Tom DeLay's $1.5 Billion Big Oil Giveaway

This Tuesday in the dark of night (at 4 a.m.), Tom DeLay slipped a $1.5 billion giveaway into the energy bill to big oil companies—including Halliburton and Marathon Oil. The Senate can kill this outrageous provision when it votes on the energy bill tomorrow. Demand that your Senator send this bill back to conference to reject Delay's under-handed corporate giveaway. GO! »

3. Russ Feingold is going to bring up a point of order against the bill.
Because the bill overspends by 200 million dollars, a point of order that the bill violates the budget act can be made. It takes a 3/5 vote to waive the CBA. If they can't get 60 votes, the bill falls.
