1. The Cincy Enquirer refuses to run ads for women's clinics, too.
This is of no great suprise to me.

Very conservative newspaper.

3. A Gannett newspaper endorsing a Repuke? You don't say??
This cracks me up though....

Schmidt has some negatives. She has a troubling tendency to offer superficial answers on issues she may not have carefully studied. Some of her comments can lack tact, and she relies too often on anecdotal evidence to prove a point.

So in other words, she's a cookie cutter Busheep without a mind of her own, reading a Karl Rove script? But that's okay with you. :eyes:

4. They keep saying they "Hope" Schmidt does the right thing if elected
"We hope that Schmidt, if elected, will resist the temptation to score points on divisive social hot-button issues, but will work to understand all viewpoints, seek consensus and get the job done for the district.

We also hope she will show creativity and independence, stepping beyond what might be "expected" of her as a freshman House Republican."

What the f*ck is that??

Hackett is a candidate who clearly states what he's gonna do with no B.S. spin. No mystery there. Endorsing him makes too much sense, I guess.

5. Other things they hope for...
They hope the moon is made of cheese.
They hope the sun sets in the east.
They hope the temperature in Hades drops below 32 F.
They hope Porky Pig achieves flight.
They hope Bill Gates agrees to sell Microsoft to Jim Barksdale for $1.

These things are all more likely than the things they list in their endorsement...
