If Kerry says "Bring it on" one more time...

I thought it was a disgusting thing to say when he said it originaly and Kerry's repeating it only grates on my nerves all the more.

Lets try and make fun of bush for being an arrogant asshole by being an arrogant asshole. I would like to slap em both.

It was arrogant and reckless of Bush, but I have to say I like hearing someone throw those words back in Bush's face. Anyway, campaigns have always been corny to some degree....I particularly disliked "the doctor is in," and it drives me nuts that they all have to name their campaign busses, trucks, etc.

Just like I am.

voting en masse for Kerry, should he be the nominee. Many will like the sound of the phrase, and will say, "Duh, which one said it first? I'll vote for him!" I suspect that is the reason behind it, anyway.

in February of 2003, John Edwards used the phrase as his catchphrase in several speeches that were broadcast on C-Span. That's why I was so surprised to see John Edwards not ridicule Kerry for lifting it from him. My guess is he's hoping to by Kerry's VP.

The worse thing he said that I hate, was that it's alright if schools impose manditory drug testing on our kids. Shouldn't they be required to get the permission of the legal guardian first?

And regarding drug testing in the workplace, this is nothing more than an excepted means for corporations to not hire those with medical problems. "List your fucking medications and go pee in that jar Joe!"

If they think someone has a drug problem then they should either not hire that person, or just report what they saw to the police. It is wrong to allow corporations to police our lives, and we need a candidate who has the courage to speak out on this!

In case you don't know, school attendance is mandatory in this country.

No school board should ever have the right to make a school child take a drug test, without first obtaining the permission of the child's legal guardians. Only the police should have such authority in certain cases.

It gives me too negative of a vibe.. makes me think of all that have died in Iraq since Bush uttered that inane comment. I understand why Kerry is using it.. it just makes me uncomfortable. Just as Clark supporters chanting USA, USA, USA.. all that makes me think of is Bush's horrific photo op at Ground Zero with the bullhorn.

They can unite people, and they can unite against people. I think it's all dependent upon the leader of the movements. Clark's USA chant gives me many less willies than those heard at a Bush rally.

I think Kerry wants to keep the line fresh in the public's memory, for his purposes as well as mocking the Shrub. I really wouldn't be worried about it.

Slap me if you want to, but I could just see all of us screaming (I am a Dean supporter afterall!) that slogan as we walk into the voting booths to send * back to Crawford!

If Kerry insists on using this cliche, someone needs to tell him to liven it up.

At the DNC Winter meeting in 2003, Edwards said, "BRING IT ON!!!"

He was the first one to say it, and Kerry has now co-opted it.

You can see it during his speech at C-Span from last year.

It's not so much the "BRING IT ON" that gets on my nerves, what gets on my nerves the most from Kerry other than the Skull and Bones membership, is that STUPID, IGNORANT, AND DUMB "THE REAL DEAL" sign.

That's the stupidest campaign slogan that I have ever seen.

If you are so real, then why won't you answer questions about Skull and Bones??? Everytime that someone brings it up, you, KERRY, say "I can't say anything about it, it's a secret."

Well then go back home, you don't deserve my vote PERIOD!

Every time they see Kerry on TV they say in John Kerry basso profundo, "I've got three words George Bush can understand--Bring. It. On." and then crack up. No more C-Span radio in the car while carting them around.

That's the dark side of growing up with political junkies for parents, I guess.

Every time he is mentioned on TV. She says he is the good guy. Then one time she said That's who we are voting for. Who says 4 year olds can't understand democracy (or be brainwashed, but that's besides the point).
