These pictures of Bush clearing brush on his "ranch" are really starting to bother me.
He's far from a "regular guy." He's never been a rancher in his life - this "ranch" was bought as a TV set just before he decided to run for president, so he might look more Reagan-esque.
So, I'm proposing that we look into setting up a fund-raising site with the goal of raising enough money to hire a landscaper for Bush.
That way, when he's done with his hard work in Washington, he can take a real break at home, without worrying about his "chores."
And, maybe, if he didn't have all that work to do back in Texas, he wouldn't have to spend so much time down there on "vacation." It would free up more of his time to solve our real, important problems, like UN and judicial appointments, interfering in patients' rights issues,
nation-building,
borrowing more money, and making sure that gays can't visit at hospitals.
I'm thinking paypal, only $1 donations accepted, so we'll know at a glance how many people contributed. And, if Bush ultimately refuses to let our landscapers on his land, we can always donate the money to the ACLU.
Anyone with experience at this sort of thing? I mean besides televangelists?
