Which nuclear threat is most dangerous : Iran or Pakistan ?
Threats are being tossed around about bombing Iran and leaving all "options on the table". Iran is a very modern and advanced country in many ways. They would not be as dangerous as some countries that already have the nuclear bomb, in my opinion. So why would we pick them out? For example, Pakistan and North Korea seem to be much larger threats to me. Pakistan is also helping Osama Bin Laden, according to many reports? So let's bomb Iran? Why?

2. according to the CIA
it's gonna take at least 10 years for Iran to have enough weapon-grade plutonium to manufacture a couple. Then maybe 5-7 to have a functioning one.

So if they were smart, they'll buy right away from Pakistan.

5. Forgot India

If anything I count on India / Pakistan starting something the way those two countries keep their tensions on the edge.

6. pakistan by far.....

As long as IRAN is left alone...it will never attack anyone...

Pakistan is a much greater threat for many reason...the country is a failed state....and has much more sick dynamics at play...

11. Pakistan
Pakistan is just one assassination away from becoming a fundamentalist Islamic state with nukes. I think China would nuke Pakistan if they ever decided to get into a nuclear pissing contest with India.

North Korea has nukes, Iran is 8-10 years away. What was the question? Uhm, I forgott, the United States under Bush are a much, much bigger threat to world peace.....

9. Yep, and I would even venture that more than all of them
China and Russia joining forces is by far the biggest threat, but you know the Bush/Cheney team, they love China and Russia, but Cuba, well hey, they are communists, lol.

8. My understanding is that Iran is yet to be ready and not
Really a threat yet or for some time. Pakistan, however, is a serious threat, particularly because much like the Saudi regime, they are in bed with both the terrorists and our current administration, and they launder money for both. No speculation here, my own coverage of this speaks to Pakistan as showing more and a clear and present threat than Iran.
