Tonight on Letterman "general wesley clark quote of the night"

They showed a clip on c-span where a guy asked a question Clark after a speech(without Clark possibly knowing there were cameras rolling).

He said "are you going to take the offensive to Bush?"

Clark replied "we're gonna beat the (blank) out of him!" His mouth looked like he said shit, but they muted it so I can't be sure.

Pretty funny, Letterman said "I'd like to have a foulmouthed president."

1. That's exactly what Clark said.

The guy he was talking to was concerned about what BushCo had done to McCain, and then to Cleland, and asked if Clark was ready to fight them. Clark's reply was that he was prepared to kick the shit out of them.

I just don't didn't know HOW I could explain to my kids that someone running for President could use language like that.

When I mentioned it, my son just said "about fucking time."

But then again, he went to Catholic school.
