The Pubs job at this point is to Confuse us Dems. They come to stir
muddy water and fog the air.

Meanwhile, the Bush skates to the nom unopposed.

Come, time for guava

1. Agree and add......
It makes me crazy to see the News anchors talk about one of our candidates and then bring in a Republican consultant to comment on that candidate. WTF?

Since when do the Repubs get a say in who our candidate should be? Since when do the repubs get to shape the debate within our party?

guava? Yeh....I'll take some.......thanks.........

6. I'd be fine with this IF
they'd have Franken and friends do all the commentary on every Republican campaign event, e.g., the debates, Bush or Cheney speeches, etc.

2. Pour me some quava, I am in complete agreement. On the
Washington Journal this AM they were quoting from Republican sources and their opinions on the Democratic nominations. I, for one, could care less what they think.

Grrrrrr...

Darn that's good guava, opi! :hi:

3. You know what I would do if I were a Republican?
I think I'd go around telling every Democrat I know that American Democracy is a joke. That the system is rigged against every democrat. That all of the Democratic candidates (except Dennis Kucinich, of course(not meaning any offense to Mr. Kucinich, who I think is a good person and in some ways a good candidate. Just that he's pretty far behind in the polls. If Kerry were in the rear, my hypothetical plan would be to say that everybody but him was a right wing sellout)) are right wing fakers, that no matter who gets elected, the corrupt evil in America will continue to make everything worse.

That way the enthusiasm people have for politics on this board (to pick one Democratic locale) will be drained away into apathy and self indulgence.

But what do I know?

4. In addition, your plan...
(if enacted) would encourage divisivness; and people convinced that all but thier candidate were crooks would vote 3rd party come November if thier candidate were not the one nominated...

Of course, if I were doing this, I would set up multiple accounts, each promoting a different candidate... and which account was most active would depend on which candidate was doing worst...

(Mods, yes, there are 3 accounts registered to my home computer: mine, my father's, and my daughters. My daughter has never used hers, and my father does all his posting from his job in New Mexico. So I'm not doing this, ok?)

5. The Pubs are notorious for cheating, lying, and playing by THEIR RULEs
Victory at all costs, even if it means bending the rules. Of course there are a few Dems who fall for the approach of victory by any means but they are far in between when compared to the Master Pubs.

This is the year when the Masses wake up to smell the coffee. The Pubs are doing all in their power to muddy the waters to confuse us Dems. They want us to be flummoxed and depressed. They have tasted raw power and don't want to give it up. In their mind, the Pubs hate all that stands in their way of more power and wealth. Never mind the future for our children. Never mind the homeless and those w/o jobs. Its them that counts not all of US but THEM. A tell tale sign of Supreme Selfishness

Come, Guava Juice is served.
