"Don't blame me, I voted for Kerry". The buttons and bumper
stickers I purchased turned out to be a good investment and so accurate too!

10. I still have my Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker on my front door
It's a bit weathered, but the messageis clear.

I live in a rowhouse in a city, so don't have a front yard option.

14. I'd like to get a small don't blame me one for on
the car window just above the gas tank.

Yesterday morning regular gas was $2.59 and $2.65 here. Just now it is $3.20.

12. I prefer "Don't blame me, I voted for Gore."
With Gore, Kerry would have been unnecessary.

13. The Worse Bush Gets, the More the Button is a Tragedy
I bought five "I Voted for Kerry" buttons just after the November "election," gave one away, have worn the others and put them in my house and car, visible. For a long time, it was funny, accurate, the right answer, and distanced me from the asshole. I kept my Kerry/Edwards lawn sign up for months after November, until the City told me to take it down. Recently, though, after the totally unreal disaster of a clueless group of corporate neo-cons that actually does not know how to operate a Federal government, and tried to ignore the increasing devastation of Hurricane Katrina--that didn't seem to realize that running a government is more than a photo-op or a smear campaign--this "Voted for Kerry" button has taken on a sense of an almost pitiful plea, "what might have been," sadder and now tragic, that to look at it now makes me want to cry.

17. Democratic Area--and They Were Telling Everyone to Take Them Down
Well, I don't want to say specifically, but it is the Upper Midwest, Michigan, and is actually a Democratic city. Kerry won my city and my state. I think they just didn't want division or polarization in our city, as all signs, whether for Kerry or the asshole, were taken down after a while unless you had them in your backyard, and plus this city has strict sign/billboard laws, immediate clean up of graffiti, etc. They were actually very respectful about it, and as mentioned, this is a Democratic area. I had a decision to make, when it first happened, I could either just take it down, (as just about everyone else had by then), or start to fight, and I didn't think it was worth it, since, like most people, I was really depressed at that time. I have it prominently displayed in my living room.

18. "Don't blame me, I voted for Bill and Opus"
It's about five sizes too small and there's about 15-20 years of wear and tear on it, but dammit I'm wearing it ANYWAY! :) Would you believe my hyper-christian mom bought me that shirt?
