Do you suppose Bush's Evangelicals wonder why God would doom

His Own crusade in Iraq by sending Katrina to U.S.?

You'd think God would be more cooperative with such an important opportunity to convert all of those Iraqis to Hi$ way on Earth led by Hi$ Cho$en One and by Cheney'$ War Profiteer$. Wouldn't you?

2. no, there were posts on FR saying that god ravaged NO

because it's a haven for sin! The mods there actually had to ask people to please refrain from saying that God was punishing the city for being wicked! When the FR mods step in, you know it's gettin dirrrty!

5. Very characteristic of those who ALWAYS think most of Evil is external,

elsewhere, not given to introspection or self-evaluation, their stories about Evil usually have an external locus, and their stories about Good have an internal locus = them.

That external locus often leads to even more distorted connections with Racism, bigotry and prejudices of many kinds. All justified by the individual's externalization of "evil".

They cherry pick stuff to justify their beliefs and are incapable of critical thought. They are an argument against Intelligent Design since God would not have intentionally made some of his biggest supporters so damn stupid.

Last year, a local pastor sent video footage of sex acts being performed in front of police to the mayor, city council, and the media. City officials simply ignored the footage and continued to welcome and praise the weeklong celebration as being an "exciting event". However, Hurricane Katrina has put an end to the annual celebration of sin.
