"From where will the money come?" asks the CNN anchor
when told about more money allocated by Congress to FEMA.

Here's a suggestion: a specail FEMA 1% income tax on all income above $200,000, or so. And make it on straight income - before all the adjustments and the deductions and the off shore tax shelters.

And a special corporate 5% tax on all CEO compnesations that are above the 200-1 ratio, as reported here:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=102&topic_id=1737319

In 2004, the ratio of average CEO pay to the average pay of a production (i.e., non-management) worker was 431-to-1, up from 301-to-1 in 2003, according to "Executive Excess," an annual report released Tuesday by the liberal research groups United for a Fair Economy and the Institute for Policy Studies.

1. 200 to 1 is way too high !
200 to 1 ?

It should be more like 50 to 1

If the average worker is making 30,000, the CEO would be making $1.5 Mil

That's somewhat reasonable.

200 to 1 is way too high

3. Too bad CNN waited years to ask real questions
They helped elect these thugs. The chickenhawks are coming home to roost.
Better late than never to ask, I suppose. Sigh.
