What is up with George H.W. Bush and Clinton? That is the second time
I have seen Clinton grab Poppy Bush's hand and jerk it away from the microphone. I think Poppy Bush thought he was the next to speak. Clinton lead him out of the room and away from the reporters. He really had a hold on him.

I think Poppy may be getting forgetful due to age. I am seeing that in my mother now and it is hard to watch so I wish him no ill will nor the family. I hope it is not Alzheimer's. Hopefully just mild dementia. That is what we hope my mother has because she does not even realize what she is doing and how forgetful she is. Also, she will not let us take her to the doctor. She hasn't been to a doctor in 30 yrs.

I just do not understand why Clinton didn't speak. I guess if he spoke, then Poppy Bush would have been expected to speak. We'll see.

Time for Randi and I hope she rips Limpballs a new one.

2. Blame Junior
I watched it also and it was obvious that everyone in the room or watching would have expected Bush 41 and Clinton to speak about the tragedy since they are now in charge of fundraising. Bush Junior spoke almost incomprehensibly and then just walked off. Clinton I believe was just preventing 41 from being embarrassed by taking the mike while his idiot son walked off.

I'm sure Junior just didn't want Clinton and Poppy to speak and look Presidential when he himself can't put 2 thoughts together.

4. my thoughts too
It looked as if 41 wanted to speak, Clinton saw Jr. leave (RUDE SOB) and stopped 41 from talking.

They should have continued with the presser while dimson went to take his nap.

5. Oh for heaven's sake - why the Hillary & Bill
bashing now? Hillary doesn't need
Bill to position her for anything in politics.
She's a political figure in her own right and damned good one. Clinton is good with the American people and the people trust him more than they ever trusted either bush. Clinton can have a calming effect on people.

6. Big Dog's doing the right thing
It's a national emergency and he is a former president. This is a role he should be playing.
