has anyone heard from either of the two louisiana senators?

are they even alive?

have they been to new orleans to distribute, food, water, consolation?

have they seen with their own eyes, the bodies wrapped in blankets out in the streets waiting for the coroner to pick them up?

why didn't they fight for infrastructure money for the levees maintenance and repair and upgrade?

mary landrieu (and who is the other senator) shame. shame. shame.

but i've also seen landrieu go with republican votes on some issues i thought she shouldn't have.

Has been working the Senate Floor for diaster preparedness for years, to no avail. She wrote an editorial in the last couple of days pleading for help.

vitter is just a piece of trash but landrieu has been very active before & after trying to get word out, certainly they have seen w. their own eyes, they have flown over, etc.

please be aware both senators have their homes in new orleans

even vitter is prob. doing something but landrieu has been quite visible in her efforts

looks horrible. She was on CNN. They were asking her about the looters and she said, "Look, there is no excuse to be taking toys and tvs and whatnot, but what you have GOT to remember is that these are people who have nothing, they are thirsty and hungry, they don't have any food, they just survived a hurricane, and they need help."
