Curious...did DHS raise the threat level last weekend?

Curious...did DHS raise the threat level last weekend?
Shouldn't a Cat.5 Hurricane barreling up the Gulf of Mexico deserve an increase on the panic meter? I mean, we saw the threat level go up when there was sigtel "chatter" last year. Are potential terrorists with bombs a bigger threat than a real Cat. 5 Hurricane?

1. Hurricanes don't get votes. The "terrorist" alerts were bogus.

2. FEMA is part of DHS now.
So only terrorists threats that could result in 1/100,000 of Katrina's damage deserve a panic meter?

I guess that makes the whole idea a rather silly concept now. Wonder if they'll retire it?
