CBS Sunday morning commentator nails it
She blasted Bush and his photo op mentality....and thankfully, CBS did not put up a Ben Stein type idiot for 'balance.' That was a welcome change.

1. If Ben Stein comes anywhere near me
or my tv set, the producer of the show will hear it from me. Unless he would be willing to apologize for being *'s stooge all these years, he should, in Rush and O'Reilly's words, "just shut up."

2. She was AWESOME!
First quoted Jesse Jackson as he was telling how some people felt that the slow response was a class/race issue, but then he said "I'm not saying that."

Then the camera tightened on her "Well I'll say it!"

Bob Scheiffer's personal commentary at the end of FTN was also awesome:
"Washington, coming off of a 5 week vacation, was like a dog watching TV - seeing and hearing the lights and sound but failing to understand".

The Press is PISSED!

3. Scheiffer was probably reminded of the RCA dog in front of the old
Victrola; he replaced that corporate image with the latest RNC bunch of mutts images. Good for him, but I always worry when one of my MSM 'stalwarts' prepares to speak--I can't take more Dan Rather types.

5. WASHINGTON, coming off a five week vacation?

Give me one good reason why he didn't say *. They're still scared of the little chimp. Pathetic. That's the way they'll spin it. The government was wrong, Washington was wrong, but they will never tie the little creep's name to any of it. And I KNOW it's obvious who they're talking about to US. It's not obvious to the average viewer. They are letting * separate himself from his own government.
