Madeline Albright now heads this organization
Albright now heads this organization which is listed as an associated party by the Socialist International. Other member parties of the Socialist International in the USA include Democratic Socialists of America, and Social Democrats USA. Just thought that this was interesting that such a high profile person in our party is leading a socialist oriented group. I am not trying to flame her, I am a member of DSA and for anyone that doesn't know--- The Socialist International is an alliance of Social Democrat, Socialist, and Labor parties from all over the world. The British Labour Party and the Social Democrats of Sweden are among its members...as well as the Sandinistas.

1. Albright? Socialists let her anywhere NEAR a leadership office?
They must be 'state socialists', i.e. fascists. Ms 'the deaths of the Iraqi children are a price we're willing to pay' Albright wouldn't be welcome in any real socialist organisation.

2. "The British Labour Party"? Sounds bad to a wingnut but isn't that
the very party Blair heads?

This is smoke.

3. yes
Blair leads the party..but even with his Iraq policy the British Labour Party is to the Left of the US Democratic Party. As for Albright being condemned for the Iraq Sanctions.
