Appalled at behavior of Bush supporters
Now I have witnessed ignorance at its scariest. I was born and raised in California and I was told I didn't belong and to leave the country because I held a sign that said "Support our troops, bring them home."
I was accused of being anti-American and that I was a lowlife on welfare who needed a job and that I ought to get off welfare.
I've never asked the government for a dime.
Bush supporters during his visit to Rancho Cucamonga
showed such arrogance and ignorance it was alarming. They proudly waved a Confederate flag as if it is something to be proud of.
I am an American and I can say I was appalled by the display of Bush supporters.
The police were even biased and gave elderly anti-Bush supporters tickets for jaywalking but let Bush supporters run into the street as the motorcade drove by.
What has happened to our country? Some Bush supporters were asked why they support him and instead of an intelligent answer, they gave rude comments.
If that's what it takes to be a supporter of Bush, I'm glad I'm not.
