Any sources on this re: ships heading to Venezuela?
There are reports that some ships and other military assets that appeared to be headed to the gulf coast have turned toward Venezuela. They are preparing for total control throughout the U.S. and for an invasion of the most democratic country in our hemisphere. And make no mistake, the criminal U.S. junta is trying to kill Chavez.

1. where are these reports?
I haven't seen anything like this, but it would be very bad indeed if true. Is there a link? Thanks.

2. when you fuck up one crisis ...
start another ...

it's clear, they couldn't get any mileage out of another terrorist attack on this country right now ... that's the wrong script ... Americans would feel even more like they weren't being "protected" by their government ...

so bush may very well be picking on another country to "protect" us from them ... i don't know about you, but i've been very worried about an invasion from Venezuela ... you know the old saying: today Caracas, tomorrow DC ???

don't know about the ships you referred to but it sure would fit into their modus operandi ...

5. Well shoot, 911 was a good enough reason to bomb Iraq

why shouldn't Katrina be justification to go after those Latin commies?

Bush was just as incompetent post 911 as he is now, unfortunately few were willing to accept the idea that the US was being led down the primrose path by monkey boy.

So, what is worse, the gang that led us here--or the gang that let them? And that is the Democratic party's big problem. The only support they can rally is against them, not so much enthusiasm for themselves--precisely because they have not launched a full-throated frontal attack and let endless opportunities slide by...while people have died.
