If FEMA's outsourcing policies aren't investigated !

FEMA outsourced the planning of disaster relief according to Wayne Madsen's latest column to IEM, Inc. FEMA then outsourced the evacuation of the Superdome and Convention Center to out of state bus charter companies:

Local Company Sending Charter Buses to Gulf
http://www.wcpo.com/news/2005/local/09/02/bus.html
“The Federal Emergency Management Agency is mobilizing 5,000 buses nationwide.” This is from a Cincinnati, OH bus company ; a No. Carolina Christian bus charter firm also got a contract

Community Offers Relief

So, you can see, FEMA was ‘privatizing’ the rescue/relief effort and dawdling in this effort, rather than expediting rescue/relief that the National Guard/military could have been doing.

If you live in TX, LA, MS, AL, or FL, what is the disaster 'plan' that FEMA has in place for YOU ? Is it as criminally negligent as the SE LA/New Orleans plan ?

2. No investigation in the history of the world would be that fast
If another hurricane hits we're stuck with the FEMA we went to New Orleans with.

3. This is WHY the "this isnt the time to examine why the system failed" spin
is just a lot of nonsense.

Dems need to SAY this to them when they trot out the "let's focus on now and there will be a time to find out where the failures were" nonsense.

(all the while blaming the dems, of course)
